Open 7 days a week:
Cheese & Gift Shop: 9am – 5pm
Calvert's Restaurant: 11am – 4pm
1897 Coffee Shop: 9am – 4.30pm
Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience: 10am – 4.30pm
Parking and Access
Free on-site parking is available, including designated disabled parking. If the main car park is full, pay-and-display alternatives are available in Hawes, including Gayle Lane and the National Park Visitor Centre. Coach parking is available by appointment only.

Children under 16 go free on weekends and during school holidays
Attractions
Wensleydale Creamery is the home of the UK's famous Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The visitor centre includes:
The Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience – a self-guided exhibition plus live cheese-making demonstrations (around 30 minutes each)
A viewing gallery over the working creamery floor
The Cheese & Gift Shop, stocked with the full range of Wensleydale cheeses and gifts
Calvert's Restaurant and the 1897 Coffee Shop, both serving cheese-themed dishes and afternoon tea
A Wallace & Gromit exhibit, reflecting the creamery's long association with the animated duo
Demonstration tickets can be booked online up to 24 hours in advance, with the first and last demo of each day reserved for walk-up bookings on arrival. Group bookings of 12 or more are welcome by prior arrangement.
