Visit St. James' Park Stadium Tours, Newcastle
Location: St. James' Park, Strawberry Place, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4ST (Stadium Tours Reception is in the Milburn Stand, accessed via Milburn Reception)
Opening Hours
Classic Tour times:
Monday – Friday: 12.30pm and 2.30pm (additional times may be available)
Saturday & Sunday: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm (additional times may be available)
Tours last approximately 90 minutes. Arrive no later than 15 minutes before your allocated time.
Temporary route note: From 18 May to approximately 31 July 2026, tours follow a slightly different route due to pitch construction work — pitch-side access and the players' tunnel aren't available, but there's a view of the pitch from the Directors' Box on Level 3 instead.
Parking and Access
St. James' Park is in Newcastle city centre, so there's no free stadium parking. On non-matchdays, several Newcastle City Council "pay and display" car parks are available nearby. The stadium has excellent public transport links via bus and Metro.
Admission Prices
Classic Tour
Weekday: Adults £23 / Concessions £18 / Juniors £12
Weekend: Adults £26 / Concessions £21 / Juniors £15
Age brackets: Junior 5–15, Concession/Student 16–17, Concession 65+, Adult 18–64.
Matchday Tours are also available (returning for the 26/27 season), and Accessible Tours can be arranged by contacting the tours team directly.
Attractions
The Classic Stadium Tour takes visitors behind the scenes of Newcastle United's home since 1892, including:
The players' tunnel (subject to the current temporary route)
The home dressing room, where you can sit in your favourite player's seat
The Media Suite, where post-match press conferences take place
One of the stadium's highest points for a panoramic view over St. James' Park
Rooftop Tours are also available seasonally in summer for an even higher vantage point. Tour gift vouchers make a popular present for Newcastle United fans, valid for 6 months from purchase if a specific date isn't chosen at the time.
