Open daily, 10am – 5pm (last admission 4pm). Closed 24 & 25 December and 1 January.
Parking and Access
The museum is a two-minute walk from Manchester Victoria Station and five minutes from Shudehill Bus Station, with excellent tram, train and bus links into the city centre. For visitors driving, the nearest car parks are AO Arena CitiPark, Manchester Printworks (APCOA), and Q-Park Deansgate North.

Great British Summer Savings Scheme pricing applies 25 June – 1 September 2026, with reduced VAT on standard admission:

All tickets booked directly are valid as a 12-month Season Ticket, giving unlimited return visits. Groups of 10+ receive a 20% discount when booked in advance. Standard (non-discounted) rates apply outside the summer savings window — check the Visit Us page for current pricing.
Attractions
The National Football Museum tells the story of English football across four galleries:
Pitch Gallery – football silverware, George Best's Mini Cooper, and rotating special exhibitions (currently featuring "Yard Ball", a street-football-inspired activity zone)
Match Gallery – the original Laws of the Game, the oldest surviving FA Cup trophy, and the 1966 Jules Rimet Trophy replica
Play Gallery – interactive games including Penalty Shootout (£3 per go), Pass Master, Shot Stopper, and a Discovery Zone for under-5s
Score Gallery – the current special exhibition, "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Goals", running until 1 November 2026
The Dugout Cafe serves food and drink daily (card payments only), and the venue also runs children's birthday parties and school visits. Compulsory bag storage applies for large bags and luggage (£4 per bag, £2 per coat).
