England’s oldest visitor attraction, established in 1630. Set in riverside grounds in

Knaresborough, the site includes the famous Petrifying Well (the UK’s most visited naturalwonder), the Cave of the prophetess Mother Shipton, and woodland walks. The petrifying well turns objects to stone and children can retrieve their own petrified toy to take home. Great themeing year round, with 2026 Summer being sprinkled with the wizard of OZ.
