Parking and Access

On-site car park available, with fees approximately £3-5. The garden is located about 45 minutes from Newcastle via the A1 north.

Attractions

The Alnwick Garden is one of the UK’s most visited gardens, spanning 12 acres adjacent to Alnwick Castle. Key features include:

  • Grand Cascade

  • Poison Garden (guided tours only, particularly intriguing for older children)

  • Serpent Garden with water sculptures

  • Ornamental Garden

Additionally, the garden is home to Lilidorei, which requires a separate ticket or can be combined with your garden ticket.
