Top Gear Karting is the North East's premier indoor karting venue, a fully enclosed 200 metre circuit on the outskirts of Durham city centre. Established in 1999, it's been a fixture of the region's motorsport scene for over two decades, offering everything from casual arrive-and-drive sessions to endurance races and junior birthday parties.

When: Term time: Monday–Friday 12pm–8pm, Saturday 9am–9pm, Sunday 10am–6pm. School and Bank Holidays: Monday–Friday 10am–6pm, Saturday 9am–9pm, Sunday 10am–6pm.
Cost: From £25 per person for ages 8–15, and £30 per person for ages 16 and over. Prices are subject to change and offers are often available online, so it's worth checking current deals before booking.
Parking: On-site parking is available. As an indoor venue, sessions run whatever the weather.
A fully indoor, NKA-certified 200 metre track suited to all abilities, with all safety equipment provided. Drivers must be aged 8 or over with a minimum height of 1.4 metres (4ft 2in). Junior birthday parties are a speciality, with dedicated packages including track time, food and the chance to race the venue's own "Tamed Racing Driver". There's also a spectator viewing area and an on-site café serving snacks and pizza.
